improve the psychological and social aspects of inpatients during holidays by creating an entertainment environment that relieves their suffering caused by being away from their families.

Target Group:

All inpatients outside the cities of Riyadh and Jeddah whose number is more than 200 patients..

Venue Scope:

King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre (Riyadh – Jeddah).

Financial Scope:

SAR 450,000

Project Justifications:

  • Support the mental health of patients to promote their response to treatment.
  • Lack of family atmosphere for pediatric patients outside the cities of Riyadh and Jeddah, affecting their response to treatment.

Facts and Figures:

  • 3 events to celebrate holidays (Al-Fitr, Al Adha, National Day) inside and outside the hospital.
  • 300 Vouchers to provide Eid clothes (in an amount of SAR 500 per year for each patient at a rate of SAR 250. per Eid).
  • Provide gifts in Eids and different occasions for all inpatients and their escorts.
