Collect and analyze variables and results related to the diseases of people with multiple sclerosis to improve our understanding of the disease in our region, and the ability to find a suitable treatment for outpatients in the hospital.

Target Group:

All multiple sclerosis patients in the neuroimmunology clinic in King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre in Riyadh.

Venue Scope:

King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre in Riyadh

Financial Scope:

SAR 30,000.

Project Justifications:

  • Multiple sclerosis is the main cause of neurological disability for the youth and it is considered a chronic disease.
  • Lack of demographic data and data related to diseases among other variables.

  • The project will continue for 4 years..
  • The number of multiple sclerosis patients is about 61 persons per 100,000 persons in the Kingdom.
