Intravenous Injection Project

Providing devices for intravenous infusion and for drawing fluids from patients' bodies, so that they can get on with their normal lives instead of having to stay in hospital for long periods.

Target group:

Children being treated at King Fahad National Centre for Children's Cancer.

Location:

King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre in Riyadh and King Fahad National Centre for Children's Cancer.

Financial scope:

SAR 700,000.

Project rationale:

  • Supporting patients emotionally and enabling them to live their lives normally.
  • Shortening the waiting list and reducing the cost of bed occupancy.
  • Reducing the number of hospital admissions per child.
  • Giving children the chance to live their lives normally without having to stay in hospital for long periods.
