Establishing a Gastrointestinal Function Laboratory for Organ Transplantation

The gastrointestinal motility laboratory project is urgently and greatly needed. It provides advanced medical tools and technology to examine organ motility and function correctly in organ transplant patients — particularly lung and small bowel transplant patients — and relies on modern, advanced technology to carry out precise tests, some of which are not currently available at the hospital.
Carrying out these vital tests before transplantation will help determine precisely which organs need transplanting and avoid the loss of transplanted organs.
