Providing Walkers for the Physiotherapy Department
Fifty walkers in the physiotherapy department in Jeddah protect patients from falls and help them walk safely — around 700 patients a month.
A child patient's stay in hospital leaves them feeling lonely, isolated and bored — especially children with cancer, tumours and liver disease and those receiving organ transplants. By providing some recreational equipment and devices we help the child overcome that isolation; these facilities are also an opportunity to bring them together with other children who share the same illness and treatment, which in turn speeds their recovery.
Child patients, both inpatients and outpatients, at King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre – Riyadh and King Fahad National Centre for Children's Cancer.
