Mosque Expanding Project

There is a need for prayer halls and mosques large enough for staff, patients and visitors. The current mosque was built more than (18) years ago and now needs refurbishment and expansion. The project aims to bring a sense of contentment, calm and reassurance that helps worshippers complete their prayers in a spiritual atmosphere, and to raise the satisfaction of those it serves (staff, patients, visitors and guests).

• The current prayer hall cannot accommodate a large number of worshippers.
• There is no other prayer hall or mosque nearby.
• There are too few washrooms.
• The entrances to the current mosque become congested.
• The old design did not correctly account for the direction of the qibla; the mosque's carpets are now laid to match the correct direction, which has greatly reduced the number of worshippers it can hold.
