Cardiac Catheterization

Providing treatment — “emergency interventional cardiac catheterisation for patients with acute heart attacks” — to non-citizens who have no medical insurance.

Given the high rate of heart attacks, estimated globally at 3.8% among those under 60 and rising to 9.5% among those over 60, and the consequences for those affected — it is one of the largest causes of death each year.

Saving the lives of patients with acute heart attacks and avoiding the consequences that lead to death — between 10% and 15% where untreated, God forbid — and up to 25% suffering heart muscle damage or failure that may leave the patient unable to live a normal life, with all that means for them personally, for their family and for society.

50 patients a year among those with heart disease or heart attacks who hold a valid residency permit in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

• Saving the lives of patients with acute heart attacks and avoiding the consequences that lead to death or heart muscle failure, which may leave the patient unable to live a normal life.
• The positive psychological and social effects on the patient and their family.
• The economic effects of treating a problem that could otherwise cost the state a great deal.
• Helping to serve our resident brothers and sisters and showing our compassion towards them.

• Cost per patient: between SAR 50,000 and SAR 60,000, depending on the patient's other conditions.
• Total project cost for (50) patients: SAR 3,000,000
