Providing rapid treatment at King Faisal Specialist Hospital for critically ill patients who cannot afford the cost of care — those suffering acute strokes and referred from government hospitals.
Large numbers are referred to King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre, and this condition is the third most common cause of death in the Kingdom (after heart disease and cancer). Because stroke patients cannot afford the cost of treatment, King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre treats this type of stroke, but at a charge for non-Saudi patients.

Stroke patients referred from government hospitals (King Salman Hospital – King Saud Medical City – Diriyah Hospital) who cannot pay their own costs. Leaving them in those hospitals without rapid therapeutic intervention leads to the patient's death or permanent disability, God forbid.
