All paediatric patients, both outpatients and inpatients, at King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre – Riyadh and King Fahad National Centre for Children's Cancer – Riyadh.

SAR 1,100,000.

Project rationale:

• The need to make children more comfortable within the Centre and to arrange the space in a way that suits their age.
• The need to bring more positive spirit to the space and to lift the children's morale by surrounding them with a place that inspires optimism and joy.
• Decorating medical and imaging equipment and adding illustrations to it helps reduce children's fear of it.
• Electronic devices and games will strengthen the child's sense of belonging at the Centre and bring a smile to their faces.

• Around (95,000) children visit King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre in Riyadh and King Fahad National Centre for Children's Cancer each year (inpatients and outpatients).
