Providing an MRI scanner at King Fahad National Centre for Children's Cancer, since the Centre has none and every child patient has to be transferred to the main hospital for an MRI scan.
Target group:
All child patients, both outpatients and inpatients, at King Fahad National Centre for Children's Cancer whose condition requires an MRI scan.
Project rationale:
The current radiology department at King Fahad National Centre for Children's Cancer has no MRI service, so the Centre has to send most of its child patients to the radiology department at the main hospital — which delays the delivery of treatment to the child.
Estimated budget:
SAR 13,000,000.
