• Gardens inside hospitals lower the cost of delivering care, because patients recover faster and spend less time in hospital.
• Gardens inside hospitals, the sight of greenery and the fresh air reduce the economic cost to the hospital by lowering the need for expensive strong painkillers.
• The emotional and psychological needs of inpatients should be a priority alongside conventional concerns.
• Improving staff satisfaction and wellbeing, and increasing their motivation.

• The cost of building the medical unit for the day surgery unit is estimated at SAR 10,000,000, including all its fittings and medical equipment.
• King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre – Riyadh employs around (10,000) staff.
• King Abdullah Centre for Liver Diseases and Tumours has (396) beds with an occupancy rate of (90%) throughout the year.
