Wareef Charity Takes Part in the Bone Marrow Transplantation Conference

In cooperation with the oncology department at King Faisal Specialist Hospital, the King Faisal Specialist Hospital Charity Foundation “Wareef Charity” took part in the First Annual Bone Marrow Transplantation Conference, held over three days in Jeddah. Wareef Charity gave a presentation on community participation and its own role in it, alongside a stand introducing the Foundation's activities and programmes.

The conference included a day set aside for families, at which Wareef Charity provided a number of recreational activities to raise awareness of the importance of bone marrow transplantation in treating different types of cancer.

The conference matters because it delivers one of Wareef Charity's objectives: supporting cultural and scientific activities that help raise health awareness.
