The Water Provision Project Launches to Supply Drinking Water to Patients
To make things easier for visitors to King Faisal Specialist Hospital and ease their hardship, Wareef Charity took on the Water Provision…
On Tuesday 20 November, the King Faisal Specialist Hospital Charity Foundation (Wareef Charity) held an awareness exhibition to mark World Children's Day, in cooperation with the paediatrics department at King Faisal Specialist Hospital in Riyadh.
The event, opened by H.E. Dr. Majid bin Ibrahim Al-Fayyadh, Executive General Supervisor of the King Faisal Specialist Hospital General Organization and Chairman of the Board of Wareef Charity, featured a range of awareness stands on subjects that matter to children — healthy nutrition, primary prevention, breastfeeding, child car seats, primary vaccinations, cystic fibrosis, primary immunodeficiency and diabetes — alongside a recreational and educational corner for children.
Eng. Maher Al-Sulaimi, Chief Executive of Wareef Charity Foundation, stressed the importance of taking part in awareness events, particularly medical ones, which address subjects that matter to every part of society. He noted Wareef Charity's commitment to such events, as they relate to one of its objectives: supporting cultural and scientific activities that help raise health awareness.
Wareef Charity is a non-profit foundation that began its work in 2017 and seeks to fulfil its mission of supporting the delivery of healthcare services at the King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre General Organization — by helping to ease the burden on patients and their families, funding research, taking part in raising health awareness, and developing medical endowments in cooperation with leading local and international institutions.
